ENTRY 8 - CHARITY OF THE MONTH - MARCH 2023

Orphans in Need is a British charity founded in 2005. Over the past decade the organisation has dedicated itself to improving and empowering the lives of vulnerable orphans and widows with a focus on long term sustainability. They operate in 14 countries and currently support over 12,000 orphans.

DONATION -  

Our donation this month went to the Feed the Fasting Campaign which provides food parcels to  feed widowed families for the month of Ramadan. Each Iftar and Suhoor Food Parcel contains nutritional staples such as rice, flour, lentils, pulses, oil, spices, tea, milk powder, sugar, dates, sanitation products and much more. All the produce is sourced locally with a focus on nutritional benefits and longevity
