ENTRY 7 - CHARITY OF THE MONTH -FEBRUARY 2023

Thank you all for your continued support. The charity that The Good Companion supported in the month of February is The White Helmets.

The White Helmets is a volunteer civil defence organization operating in Syria that provides emergency response and aid to communities affected by conflict and natural disasters. The group, also known as the Syria Civil Defence, is made up of more than 3,000 volunteers who work tirelessly to rescue and provide medical care to civilians caught in the crossfire of the Syrian war. The White Helmets have received international recognition and support for their heroic efforts, which have saved countless lives amidst the ongoing crisis in Syria.

 DONATION -  

The earthquake in Syria and Turkey has taken over 40 thousand lives and left countless more injured and homeless.

This month’s donation went to The White Helmets who were from among the first responders to the earthquake disaster. Their efforts and sacrifices have helped to save over 2500 lives.
