Inspired by the true story of Aida Abu Lashin, who was trapped under rubble for over 48 hours, Echoes from Gaza : The Woman in the Rubble, is Part One of a planned three part graphic novel series that seeks to shine a light on the perseverance and heroism of the people of Gaza. 

Embark on a journey with Ameena, a woman trapped beneath the rubble of her home after a devastating airstrike. For 48 agonising hours, Ameena clings to life, drawing strength from her memories of her family and the resilient spirit of her faith an people. As her body weakens, it becomes a race against time to the rescue teams searching through the wreckage. Will they reach her in time or will Ameena become just another forgotten statistic of war?

Through powerful storytelling and captivating artwork, we aim to bring their voices to life, ensuring that their struggles and triumphs are never forgotten.

Partnering with SKT CHARITY who have a team on the ground, we have pledged to use profits from every issue we sell to build a Gaza Kitchen that will serve hot meals to 15,000+ people.
